Before We Arrive

Please make sure the following items are completed before your scheduled service:

  1. Please fill the pool to the proper operating level (approximately halfway up the skimmer opening) before your scheduled appointment. If the water level is not sufficient to safely start the pool equipment, we will need to schedule a return visit, which will be subject to a return trip fee.
  2. Turn on electrical power to all pool equipment.
  3. Make sure the equipment area is clear and accessible.
  4. Unlock all gates and provide access to the backyard.
  5. Secure all dogs and other pets inside the home.
  6. If your pool equipment, winter plugs, cover accessories, or other pool components are stored in a shed or garage, please have them placed at the equipment pad before your scheduled opening. Our technicians do not enter basements, bulkheads, attics, crawl spaces, or other storage areas to retrieve equipment. If the necessary equipment is not available at the pool when we arrive, a return trip fee may apply or your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
  7. If the required accessories are not available when our technicians arrive, any replacement parts and/or additional labor required will be added to your opening invoice

What to Expect After Your Opening

Every pool opens differently depending on weather conditions, winter debris, and water quality.

It is normal for some pools to require additional vacuuming, water balancing, chemical treatments, or filter cleaning after the opening has been completed.

If additional repairs or services are needed, our office will contact you with recommendations and pricing before any work is performed.

Equipment Inspection

As part of every opening, our technicians perform a visual inspection of your pool equipment while starting the system.

If we discover leaking equipment, damaged plumbing, faulty pumps, filters, heaters, automation, or other mechanical issues, we will document our findings and recommend the appropriate repairs.

Heater Disclaimer

Heaters may not be tested if weather conditions or water temperature prevent proper operation. Any necessary repairs are billed separately.

Our Goal

Our goal is to have your pool circulating properly and ready for the next steps of the opening process. If additional cleaning, chemical balancing, repairs, or maintenance are needed, our team will be happy to discuss the best options for getting your pool ready for the season.
